We started with cocktails outside. The bartender was great. I came for a rare cut of prime rib and was told they didn't do rare. This is after I called. But to my surprise, it came out decently rare. It was good. The veggies were great as well. Our server was attentive and friendly. I'm horrible with names but they were all great! They have quite a variety on the menu

Monkey Bar Steak & Seafood First Impressions I stopped by specifically for the prime rib after hearing it was among the best in the area. Since no one was seated inside, I chose the patio. Although it was less formal than the dining room, it had a great atmosphere. One drawback was that smoking is allowed at the bar, and the odor carries into the patio area. My beer arrived quickly, but I had to flag down the bartender to place my food order. With only about eight customers in the restaurant, I expected more attentive service. I also noticed the bartender checking his phone frequently. What I Ordered • King-cut end piece of prime rib, cooked medium-well • Mashed potatoes • Mixed vegetables My Thoughts The prime rib was enormous, cooked perfectly to medium-well, and very flavorful. The mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables also tasted good. Unfortunately, the temperature of the meal was disappointing from the first bite. The center of the prime rib was cold, while the edges were only warm. The mashed potatoes were also just warm. Only the mixed vegetables and au jus arrived hot. We’ve been living in Cape Coral for 12 years, and this restaurant and bar is our absolute favorite. The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond (many employees have been working there for years, which speaks to the owners’ excellent management). Over the years, we’ve worked our way through the entire menu, and every dish is of the highest quality—always a burst of flavor and beautifully presented. We’ve never been disappointed. The cocktails are equally professional. And there’s live music with a very engaging, atmospheric musician. This spot is always very busy on weekdays and during the day, and on weekends it’s highly recommended to arrive before 6 pm to snag a table in the outdoor area. We’ve never been disappointed; they strive to make the entire concept professional. For us, it always feels like a few hours of vacation. Thank you.

The food is definitely under rated on google. I think this place should easily be a 4.8 star but for some reason its only 4.1. The waiter kyle did an amazing job taking care of us. He made the experience better with his recommendations. They were packed on the patio and we had indoor dining. If you're in the cape definitely check this place out!!

I've only sat at the bar and it's been a good atmosphere outside. Rachel has always been great service as well as Kyle in the evening times. I think they're happy hour could be a little less in size and cost as most of it is just sandwiches and entrees they need to have a smaller appetizer menu at a better price. Food was wonderful I had to steak tacos, I do think they need to add guacamole or avocado to them for the price point. Or some chips for the side.
